Murray Rebner, MD, FACR, FSBI, is a well-versed diagnostic radiologist who serves as Fellowship Director of the Division of Breast Imaging at Beaumont Health in Royal Oak, Michigan. Furthermore, he has staff memberships at several local hospitals, including Beaumont Health’s Beaumont Hospital – Grosse Pointe, Beaumont Hospital – Royal Oak, and Beaumont Hospital – Troy. And, he is a a Professor of Radiology and Molecular Imaging at the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Murray Rebner, MD, FACR, FSBI, attended McGill University Faculty of Medicine in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and received his medical degree in 1980. Furthermore, he conducted his radiology residency at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor (1980-1984). In addition, he completed his fellowship training in breast imaging, chest imaging and ultrasound at the same educational venue in Michigan (1984-1985). Dr. Rebner received board certification in radiology from the American Board of Radiology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Radiology and a Fellow of the Society of Breast Imaging. Recognitions he received include Distinguished Reviewer awards from the journal Radiology, Best Doctor in America Award for the past 12 years, and Distinguished Service Award from General Electric for his dedication to the detection and diagnosis of breast cancer. He has authored or coauthored more than 40 publications in peer-reviewed journals and has presented multiple papers and posters at scientific meetings.
